Hermitage tour

The Hermitage is one of the largest museums in the world. The Hermitage collection includes more than 3 million exhibits. During a sightseeing tour of the Hermitage, you will visit the main gala rooms of the Museum. You will ascend the luxurious Jordanian stairs. The route passes through the Small and Large Throne, Field Marshal Hall, Emblem Hall. You will admire the paintings of great artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Titian, Goya and appreciate the skill of the great sculptors. You will also see the famous exhibits of the Museum: 19-ton Kolyvan vase, it is called "Queen of vases", and the clock "Peacock".

The tour of the Hermitage can be continued by visiting of one of the galleries of jewelry: the" Golden Room" or "Diamond Room ". This is unique opportunity to see the royal treasures. This is separate tour that continues for 1-1,5 hours. The treasure gallery is a kind of museum inside the Hermitage. You will see the most valuable exibits, aincient Greec and Scythian gold from archaeological excavations, oriental weapons, jewelry masterpieces that belonged to the Russian tsars and precious objects by Faberge.

The tour is possible every day, but Monday (day off).

The Hermitage private tour includes only the main museum complex.

Impressionists (Claude Monet, Piere- August Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin and other artists) are exhibited in a separate building - in the General Staff buiding designed as Modern Art museum. This is one of the largest collections of art of French impressionists and post-impressionists.
